New Years Beans

These beans are good all year, but we especially love them on New Year's Day because they're easy & sooooo yummy!

Ingredients
3 cans pintos w/ jalapenos
3 cans beans of your choice (plain pintos, black-eyed peas, navy beans, etc.), drained & rinsed
1 can hot Rotel
1 can original Rotel
1 pkg smoked sausage

Directions
  1. Slice sausage into small circles about 1/2 in. in diameter.
  2. Drain and rinse plain beans.
  3. Put everything in crockpot.
  4. Set to low.
  5. Cook until heated through - usually an hour or two, but as long as it's on low, you can leave them simmering for several hours.

Serve with rice or cornbread.
